UFC is in Abu Dhabi for the next two weeks hosting four events at Fight Island. The series get started on Saturday, July 11th with the UFC 251 PPV. The 13-fight card features championships on the line, and a huge women’s contenders bout. The early prelims get started at 6 p.m. on UFC Fight Pass, and the main card gets going at 10 p.m. on ESPN+.
A young flyweight looking to stay in the UFC takes on a promotion newcomer when Raulian Paiva takes on Zhalgas Zhumagulov at UFC 251 this Saturday on Yas Island in the United Arab Emirates.
The Brazilian Paiva is 19-3 in MMA, but 1-2 in the UFC. He’s only had seven stoppages in his 19 victories, so he tends to go the distance. Zhumagulov makes his UFC debut with a 13-3 record after winning his last four fights in the Fight Night Global promotion. All four of those fights went the distance, three of them for five rounds. Of all the fights on the card, this one might need the judges the most.
