UFC is back from its Fight Islander event space and is set to host a PPV at its Las Vegas APEX facility. UFC 252 is scheduled for Saturday, August 15th on ESPN+ PPV. The early preliminary card will get started at 7 p.m. ET. and air on Fight Pass. The preliminary card will start at approximately 8 p.m. and air on ESPN/ESPN+. The main card should get started around 10 p.m. as an ESPN+ PPV.
The main event of UFC 252 features what is expected to be the final bout in the trilogy between Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier. Miocic is putting his heavyweight title on the line against the No. 1 contender Cormier. Cormier knocked out Miocic at UFC 226, and Miocic returned the stoppage with a TKO win at UFC 241.
The main card features Sean O’Malley and his growing profile against Marlon Vera in a bantamweight fight. Junior Dos Santos has entered the gate-keeper phase of his career and will face Jairzinho Rozenstruik in a heavyweight bout.
