It’s a pair of women’s strawweights, one of whom might be fighting for her UFC future, do battle at UFC Fight Night Saturday as Mallory Martin squares up against Hannah Cifers on ESPN+ live from Las Vegas.

Martin is 6-3 in MMA, a 26-year-old out of Denver, Colorado. She lost her UFC debut on December 7th of last year to Virna Jandiroba via second round rear-naked choke. She was the unanimous decision winner over Micol DiSegni last August at Dana White’s Contender Series, and got another Invicta win over Cynthia Areco to earn the call.

Cifers is a UFC veteran in need of a win, with a 10-6 record but a 2-4 UFC mark with three consecutive losses. “Shockwave” will be fighting for the fourth time in 2020, having been stopped three-straight times by Angela Hill, Mackenzie Dern, and Mariya Agapova this calendar year so far, failing to reach a third round in any of those fights. She lands 4.68 strikes per minute in a UFC octagon, but absorbs 5.64.

Here are the betting odds and bet splits at DraftKings Sportsbook for Mallory Martin vs. Hannah Cifers at UFC Fight Night from Las Vegas on August 29th.

Betting splits

Mallory Martin: -305 (72% of action, 70% of bets)
Hannah Cifers: +233 (28% of action, 30% of bets)

Here are the DraftKings DFS salaries for Mallory Martin vs. Hannah Cifers tonight:

DraftKings DFS Salaries

Mallory Martin: $8,900
Hannah Cifers: $7.300

Martin scored just 4.5 points in her first UFC bout, a second-round submission loss last December, but she’s still quite the favorite here over the unimpressive (and weight-missing) CIfers, who might be fighting for her UFC roster spot here. There’s probably better value in other places on this card, but if Cifers can manage to keep her spot in the promotion with a win you’ll have something with the underdog.
