An undefeated lightweight prospect making his delayed UFC debut finally gets in the cage as Nasrat Haquarast takes fights unblemished Alex Munoz at UFC Fight Night this Saturday from the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas.

Haquarast is 11-3, 3-2 in the UFC. His last bout was a stunning upset KO loss to Drew Dober in 70 seconds where he entered as a 3-to-1 favorite. At 24 years old from Kandahar, Afghanistan, he has nine career knockouts and fights out of the Tristar Gym. Haquarast has been with the UFC since October of 2017, and will want to keep this fight in the standup against a submission specialist, as he lands 5.25 strikes per minute across his five UFC bouts.

Munoz was originally to make his UFC debut in February, but a back injury kept him off the card. He returns this Saturday with a 6-0 career record and three wins by stoppage. A winner at Dana White’s Contender Series in July of 2018, he didn’t earn a contract until now. At 30 years of age from Dallas, he fights out of the Team Alpha Male stable. He only has six career fights despite starting his career in 2015, and hasn’t fought for the same promotion in his last five bouts.
