UFC is back for its third PPV of 2021 with UFC 259 getting underway Saturday evening from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The early preliminary card gets underway at 6:00 p.m. ET and will air on UFC Fight Pass, followed by the preliminary card at 8 p.m. on ESPN & ESPN+.
The main card for the event is scheduled to get started at 10 p.m. and will be available for purchase through ESPN+ PPV. The card is headlined by Jan Blachowicz and Israel Adesanya in a UFC light heavyweight championship match.
There’s two more title fights on the main cards as well as Amanda Nunes fights on Megan Anderson for the women’s featherweight belt, and Petr Yan takes on Aljamain Sterling for the UFC bantamweight title.
The fight is estimated to get going at approximately 12:15 a.m., according to UFC projections. The main card starts at 10 p.m., so it will depend somewhat on how long the first four fights go, and then how long ring entrances with pomp and circumstance is for the title fights. But just after midnight on the east coast is probably a safe bet.
The main card has five total fights — the three title fights plus Islam Makhachev vs. Drew Dober at lightweight and Thiago Santos taking on Aleksandar Rakic at light heavyweight.
