Dominick Reyes looks to show he deserves a third shot at the 205-pound championship as he takes on Jiri Prochazka in the main event of UFC on ESPN this Saturday, May 1st live in Las Vegas.
Reyes is ranked No. 3 light heavyweight, and was an undefeated 12-0 before falling in consecutive title fights to Jon Jones by decision, and then Jan Blachowicz by TKO after Jones vacated his belt. He’ll take on Porchazka of the Czech Republic, who is 27-3-1 career as a cagefighter, with a stoppage win in his only UFC bout so far last July on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi.
Also on the card is the incomparable bantamweight Merab Dvalishvili, who brings a strikers activity to a grapplers style of MMA. The denizen of the Republic of Georgia faces Cody Stammen of Michigan, who is 5-2-1 in the UFC with a career mark of 19-3-1.
