Full card for UFC 264: McGregor vs. Poirier

We take a look at what to expect from a full card topped by Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier squaring off for a third time.

The biggest post-pandemic MMA card in terms of tickets sold and PPV buys is here, with 13 fights coming to fans across the world on Saturday night from Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event features No. 5 and the former champ-champ Conor McGregor taking on Dustin “Diamond” Poirier for a third time Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena and available on ESPN+ PPV.

Both fighters have knocked out the other, with Poirier stopping McGregor at UFC 257 in January by TKO in Round 2, and “Notorious” McGregor earning the first round stoppage in 2014. The 32-year-old Poirier enters with a 27-6 record, while McGregor stands at 22-5 lifetime.

There five-bout main card highlighted by as big a lightweight fight as you’ll see that’s not for a title, and there are 13 total matchups coming on Saturday evening.

No. 2 Gilbert “Durinho” Burns faces No. 4 Stephen Thompson in a quality welterweight scrap. Burns fell to current champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 258, and his performance means he enters as an underdog at +126 despite being the higher-ranked fighter. Thompson is 38-years-old fighter and is 16-4-1 career, and beat Geoff Neal by decision at UFC Fight Night 183 in December in his last appearance.

Also former NFL star Greg Hardy mans the card, looking to improve following his loss to Marcin Tybura in January. Hardy is 4-3 in a UFC octagon and 7-3 career, and he faces a favored Tai Tuivasa, who checks in at -137 to Hardy’s +110.
