UFC returns to action Saturday, July 24th with an afternoon and evening of some lighter weight fighters. UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw gets going at 4 p.m. ET with the preliminary card and the main card gets underway at 7 p.m. ET. The event is taking place at the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas.
The main event features second-ranked bantamweight Cory Sandhagen facing TJ Dillashaw as a -195 favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. Considering Dillashaw has not fought since January 2019 due to a suspension related to a positive EPO test, it’s difficult to tell what he’ll bring to the octagon. With the main card starting at 7 p.m. and featuring six fights, we can probably expect Sandhagen and Dillashaw to make their way to the ring sometime around the 11 p.m. hour.
This tops a card that is quite light in terms of literal weight. The main card consists of six fights and the heaviest fighters will be Darren Elkins and Darrick Minner when they face off in a featherweight bout. Minner is a -155 favorite while Elkins is a +130 underdog. On the six-fight preliminary card, we get a pair of middleweight bouts to top the early events.
